This is a simple paddle-style valve spring compressor for small engines. It works well for removal and instalation on all small engines using self-locking (one-piece) retainers. One end is notched to compress springs. The other end is hooked to align valve spring retainer. This is a good tool for the very low-volume shop or for home use.
