Installation inserts are stainless steel coils that have been manufactured to provide controlled thread size after installation. Once installed, thread inserts become a functional orginal thread size that exceeds the strength of the orginal manufacturer's threads.

This is a must-have tool for all small engine type service work. Some of the more popular repairs for the Briggs Raptor Kart Racing engines are:

• 5/16-18: Cylinder head bolt threads
• 1/4-20: Blower cover mounting, intake and exhaust mounting and lower fuel tank mounting threads
• 10-24: Breather and coil post mounting threads
• 10-32: Fuel tank mounting threads
• 8-32: Blower/cylinder wrap-around shield, finger guards behind flywheel
